This is used to prefeed 2 other geysers - 200 litres and 150 litres.

 

100 litre stand alone gravity fed system - Manenberg/Guguletu, Cape Town- August 2006

This is a 100 litre gravity fed solar water heater was installed in Gugulethu, Cape Town in August 2006.

The owner has hardly used electricity since the geyser was installed! This was when she had family visiting her that doubled her usual water use.

100 litre stand alone gravity fed system with electrical backup - Khayelitsha, Cape Town - February 2007

 

 

80 litre stand alone gravity fed system - Khayelitsha, Cape Town

This system was installed in Khayelitsha in August 2006. The system was monitored by Eskom, but because the owner switched the element off, no data was recorded! He switched the geyser off because he had sufficient hot water!
