Since 2006 we have been supplying, distributing and completing installations of Solar Water Heaters in Cape Town and Gauteng.

Our area of focus is making solarwater heating affordable to South Africans and we encourage the Smart Choice ofusing the renewable energy sources of the sun. We use both the latestvacuum tube technology and proven flat plate collectors for affordable heating and use a selection of importedand locally produced solar geysers.

Over the life of a hot water system, you have 2 costs - thepurchase price and the running costs.

Only use electricity when it is notsunny - this will save you 80% or more per year. Electricity prices will rise,solar energy remains free.

When the running costs are electricity, wecan expect them to rise by over 25% per year for the next 2 years. If the main heating method issolar, then the running costs are greatly reduced. The electrical cost will beabout 20% of your current heating costs. This is because no matter how great ourtechnology, we are unable to guarantee sunny days 365 days a year in Cape Town.We have had requests from the Department of Water Affairs to allow some overcastdays to provide rain to fill our dams. On these days, please use Eskom to heatyour water. For the rest, please use the sun.
